Raped several times on the pretext of going to Lahore on the pretext of marrying a Karachi woman

A woman was allegedly raped multiple times in two separate incidents in Lahore, it came to light on Monday.

The case was registered under sections 376 (rape), 109 (abetment of ‘zina-bil-jaber’) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence, or giving false information to screen offender) of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The victim has said in the complaint that she is a resident of Karachi. She said that she used to play the online game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), during which she became friends with a man.

The victim said, “He asked me to come to Lahore and said that we will get married.” The victim said that she had reached the city by train on November 23. She said that the man took her to the hotel everyday where he raped her for three days.

The FIR states that he even refused to marry her and dropped her at the railway station on November 26 and left. The victim said that while she was waiting at the station, two men promised her a job.

He said the suspects took him to a house on Sarwar Road where two more men helped him to a room. The victim said that the two men who met at the railway station later raped her several times, but eventually she managed to escape.

She urged the authorities to take action against the three men who raped her.

In the complaint, police constable Asif Hasan said that when he went to the room where the second incident took place, he found that two accomplices, who had allegedly helped the men in taking the victim to the room, were trying to destroy the evidence. had tried.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar took cognizance of the incident and sought a report from the police officer of the capital city of Lahore. He also directed the officials to arrest the culprits at the earliest and assured justice to the victim.
