Red Deer RCMP are investigating a report of a stabbing at Great Canadian Superstore in Red Deer Friday afternoon.
In a news release on Sunday, police said the 23-year-old victim and the suspect had a confrontation in a corridor, which resulted in the suspect striking and slashing the victim’s neck with an unknown object.
The condition of the victim is stable in the hospital.
Police are looking for the suspect, described as a woman with light brown hair who was wearing black pants and a jacket, a white hoodie and white shoes. He was seen with a male companion at the store.
