Police Caller Man and 1-Year-Old Injured in Road Rage Shooting on the North Side of Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – A father and his 1-year-old are expected to recover after being shot by police in a road rage incident on the north side of Houston.

The shooting took place around 7.30 pm on Sunday.

Police said a man was driving south on I-45 and passing 610 when he had an argument with another driver. Meanwhile, the second driver started firing at the youth’s vehicle. In the shooting, the man was shot multiple times and the 1-year-old was charred.

Officials said other children were in the car but were not injured. The man and a 1-year-old child were taken to hospital and are expected to survive.

As police continue to search for more clues, they said the shooter was driving a black, old model Nissan Rogue, which was seen driving east toward Main Street on Pecor Street.
