One participant of the meeting told dawn The Prime Minister said that the conspiracy to leak the audio was hatched by the PML-N. He directed the spokespersons to highlight the past history of the PML-N, how the party attacked the judiciary and defame judges.
“The government stands with the state institutions,” he was quoted as saying.
Prime Minister Khan asked his media team to tell people that the PML-N has a history of intimidating and defaming the judiciary. “But their [PML-N] Bad strategy won’t work this time.
Regarding the recently enacted laws relating to the use of Electronic Voting Machines in the next General Elections, the Prime Minister asked his spokespersons to take the people into confidence on the matter that the use of EVMs would end rigging in future elections. Will go
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister constituted a 10-member advisory board of the newly established National Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen Authority (NRA).
According to a notification issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the NRA board members will serve in an honorary capacity. The board members are: Dr. Ataur Rahman, Hamza Yusuf, Syed Hussain Nasr, Dr. Mohamed Faghfuri, Dr. Joseph Lumbard, Dr. Waleed Al-Ansari, Barristers Nudrat B. Majeed, Dr. Anees Ahmed, Basit Koshul and Dr. Sahibzada Sajidur Rahman.
