The Biden administration released its proposed Title IX rule on Thursday, and here we go again. The Department of Education will limit due process for accused students, and its new definition of sexual harassment is on a collision course with the First Amendment.

In 2020 former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos finalized a Title IX rule to restore due process protections for people accused of sexual assault or assault. Obama Title IX czar Katherine Lamon condemned the reform, calling it “a return to the bad old days before I was born, when students were allowed to be raped and sexually assaulted.”
