New Delhi: Bassi Pathana MLA Gurpreet Singh GP on Thursday said in a move aimed at pacifying an angry Navjot Singh Sidhu that the former Congress president of the state would continue to hold the post.
According to sources, the Congress MLA said this after meeting Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi outside Punjab Bhawan in Chandigarh.
Sidhu on Tuesday resigned saying he can “never compromise with the future of Punjab and the agenda of Punjab’s welfare”.
