Mobile man charged with murder in Mississippi casino shooting

A mobile man is jailed on a million-dollar bond, accused of a fatal shooting at Biloxi’s Golden Nugget casino.

Jerem Lamond Jones, 30, allegedly opened fire inside the casino at around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Jones is charged with first-degree murder. Investigators have identified the victim as Randy Johnson, 41, of Gulfport.

Police say Jones and Johnson were involved in a fight outside the casino before running back inside.

This is where the deadly shooting took place inside on the gaming floor.

It is still not clear whether the two knew each other or not. No other person was hurt.
