Microsoft eases hiring as economic concerns overwhelm tech industry

Microsoft Said that it will reduce the pace of hiring new employees in view of the prevailing economic conditions, following similar announcements from its technical counterparts.

“As Microsoft gears up for the new fiscal year, it’s making sure the right resources are paired with the right opportunity,” a Microsoft spokesperson told CNBC in an email on Wednesday. “Microsoft will continue to grow headcount over the coming year, and we’ll pay extra attention to those resources where they go.”
