Love Island USA: Courtney Boerner dumps Felipe Gomes for ‘deeper connection’ with show newcomer

Courtney Boerner dumped Felipe Gomes by picking a newcomer to couple up with on Sunday’s episode of Love Island USA on Peacock.

The 24-year-old bombshell from Florida picked newcomer Bryce Fins, 30, over Felipe, 32, of Brazil.

‘I feel like this boy is here to find a genuine connection,’ Courtney said. ‘I don’t connect with people easily.’

Bryce told Courtney she made the right choice in keeping him.

‘Everything you feel and more is reciprocated,’ Bryce said. ‘I respect you. Now I definitely trust you.’

‘I chose Bryce over Felipe because he’s like super emotionally intelligent,’ Courtney said in a confessional. ‘Obviously it’s really easy for me to walk outside and f*** whoever I want. But I would like to find that deeper connection.’

Felipe was given 30 minutes to say his goodbyes and leave the island. The guys ran up and hugged him.

‘Love you bro,’ Andy Voyen, 23, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, said.

‘I’m really sad about Felipe leaving, but I don’t have any regrets,’ Courtney said in a confessional.

Isaiah Campbell, 21, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, said in a confessional that he was going to miss Felipe.

‘He said live in the villa like it’s your last day, every day,’ Isaiah said. ‘That’s the most truest sh** I’ve heard since I’ve been here.’

‘Enjoy here,’ Felipe told everyone as he left. ‘This is the most important thing you can do in your life.’

The 12th episode of season four opened with Zeta Morrison, 29, of Surrey, United Kingdom, picking Jeff Christian Jr., 25, over Timmy Pandolfi, 29, a personal trainer and real estate agent from Los Angeles, to couple up with.

‘This boy has made me feel extremely wanted, extremely cared for, and has helped me not to feel like an absolute mug in here,’ Zeta said.

Bria Bryant, 24, of New Jersey, picked Timmy Pandolfi.

‘He makes me feel like we have a really good chance of having something special,’ Bria said.

Mady McLanahan, 26, of Dallas, picked Andy Voyen, 23, of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She said that decision was not easy.

‘My pride and my ego has really been bruised this week,’ Mady said. ‘I do expect effort every single day.’

Andy later told Mady he was extremely happy that she picked him.

‘Obviously, I like you,’ Mady said.

‘Obviously, I like you too,’ Andy said.

Mady warned him that she would not be giving him a third chance. She told him she missed sharing a bed with him.

‘We can cuddle however long,’ Mady said. ‘There’s no time limit anymore.’

Zeta talked to Jeff about why she picked him.

‘You made me feel wanted and you’re fit as f***,’ Zeta said. ‘It was just such an obvious decision to choose you.’

Zeta said she didn’t want to be anyone’s second place.

‘I know she still has feelings for Timmy because they have been there from the start,’ Jeff said in a confessional. ‘But I think Zeta deserves a man.’

Jeff said he was going to make Zeta forget about Timmy.

‘I just know I’m better than him for you,’ Jeff said.

Timmy talked with Bria about Zeta’s decision to not pick him.

‘She made her choice,’ Timmy said. ‘That’s not something I’m looking at anymore.’

Timmy said in a confessional that he thought Zeta was going to pick him.

‘With my feelings for Zeta, I’m not going to act like they are not there,’ Timmy said.

At night, the couples each got into their beds.

‘Man, we’re going to hear some sex tonight,’ Zeta said.

When the lights went out Chazz and Sereniti; Zeta and Jeff; Courtney and Bryce; Bria and Timmy and Sydney and Isaiah all made out.

The next morning Timmy told Isaiah that he thought that Zeta took advantage of having the power.

‘She’s going to see me and Bria on full display,’ Timmy said.

Zeta told Courtney she didn’t appreciate Timmy talking to Bria when they were a couple.

‘I’m not into that,’ Zeta said.

Courtney said she should talk to Timmy.

‘I really like the boy a lot,’ Zeta said. ‘All I want to do is go talk to him.’

In a confessional, Zeta just cried.

‘I do miss the boy,’ Zeta said. ‘Hopefully the connection that I think that we have is strong enough to come back together.’

The couples sat down and had breakfast. Mady told Andy he wanted to adopt a child. Jesse Bray, 27, from Houston, told Deborah Chubb, 26, from Dallas, that he couldn’t see himself with anyone else. Isaiah fed Sydney breakfast.

‘You’re so f***ing funny,’ Isaiah said. ‘I love you.’

‘Okay,’ Sydney said.

Bryce told Courtney he was really attracted to her. Courtney asked him how old he was when he lost his virginity.

‘Sixteen, I think,’ Bryce said.

‘Okay, same,’ Courtney said.

Zeta told Jeff that she definitely wanted to get married. He said she would find a husband.

‘You fine as hell,’ Jeff said.

Jeff asked Zeta if she missed Timmy.

‘A little,’ Zeta said.

Sydney later told Deb how Isaiah said he loved her.

‘He slipped it out,’ Sydney said. ‘I really like him. It’s so nice. I’ll be so heartbroken if anything happens.’

‘You guys are so perfect for each other,’ Deb said.

‘Time will just tell,’ Sydney said. ‘I literally think I could leave with him right now.’

Jeff spoke with Sereniti Springs, 28, of Clovis, California, about how he was feeling iffy about Zeta. Zeta went to see Timmy and told him to come chat with her later.

The islanders gathered for evening cocktails when Mady got a text announcing a couple’s challenge called Mr & Mrs Villa. They each spent a half hour trying to find out information about each other.

‘What’s your favorite sex position?’ Zeta asked Jeff.

‘Missionary, I like to look at their face,’ Jeff said.

‘I think doggy,’ Zeta said.

In the game, the girls guessed at their guy’s ‘body count.’ Isaiah revealed his was 40 to 80.

‘Nothing to be ashamed of but it’s something to be ashamed of,’ Isaiah said.

Courtney guessed that Bryce’s favorite sexual position was ‘broken crow/sparrow.’

‘What the f*** is that,’ Sydney said.

Bryce then demonstrated. When the question turned to who else your girl or guy should be coupled up with, Timmy said Zeta. Jeff was not happy to be in the middle.

‘Don’t be saying all this s*** to me and talking to me about stuff like that,’ Jeff said in a confessional. ‘And you are still feeling another way about somebody else.’

‘Might as well do it,’ Jeff said to everyone.

When asked to guess what their girl’s best talent was, Timmy said it was what Bria’s lips do.

‘I said sneak attack because this is what he called it,’ Bria said.

‘I’m not even kissing other people and other people are sneak attacking you,’ Zeta said. ‘It’s giving f*** it about to do some other s*** tonight, then.’

‘Is that a good thing or a bad thing,’ Jeff asked.

‘It’s a good thing for you,’ Deb said.

Deb and Jesse were crowned Mr. & Mrs. Villa for knowing each other best and getting 17 correct answers.

Love Island USA will return on Tuesday on the Peacock streaming service.
