Born in 1968 at the height of Elvis’ fame, Lisa Marie Presley grew up in the limelight as the daughter of the man celebrated as the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.”

Elvis and Priscilla Presley separated in 1972 when their daughter was 4, and she was only 9 when her father died in 1977.

Soon, she began acting out and experimenting with drugs, which resulted in her mother sending her to a series of private schools, including a boarding school in Ojai, California.

Presley later launched his career in 2003 with a debut studio album, “To Whom It May Concern”, which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 album chart and was certified Gold that summer. She wrote almost all the songs on the album and co-wrote every melody.

In parallel with his musical activities, Presley was married four times: first to musician Danny Keough, then to singers Michael Jackson, Nicolas Cage, and then to Michael Lockwood. They had four children: Riley Keough, Benjamin Keough, Harper Vivian Ann Lockwood, and Finley Aaron Love Lockwood.

In 2020, Presley’s son Benjamin Keough died by suicide at the age of 27. Last July, it marked the second anniversary of Keough’s death. instagramSharing a picture of the matching tattoo on his leg.

In September, Presley wrote a essay for National Bereavement Awareness Day, in which she opened up about the loss of her son.

“My life and my three daughters’ lives as we knew them were completely exploded and destroyed by his death. We live in this. Lonely. day,” she wrote. “Grief is something you have to deal with in your own life.” We have to carry it with us for the rest of our lives, despite what some people or our culture would like us to believe. You don’t get over it, you don’t ‘move on’ period.
