Little Elm, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Little Elm ISD Superintendent Daniel Gallagher announced plans to address concerns that a Students’ protests at Little Elm High School turned into chaos last Friday,
Gallagher in a statement stressed the importance of restoring trust among students, parents and the administration.

Although the federal privacy law regarding what details students could be released said it would be “as transparent as possible” and assured students and parents that “the board of trustees, the district administration, and administration at Little Elm High School” are focused on student safety and restoring public confidence.”
Gallagher plans to hold a “listening session” in the auditorium of Little Elm High School on Tuesday, November 30, the first step to restore trust and security.
The meeting is meant to “give an opportunity to the parents and the community to voice their concerns, views and suggest suggestions to the district administration.”
Gallagher also announced the formation of an independent committee that will review the ISD’s sexual harassment reporting and investigation process, a post-action review of the November 19 incident by the Little Elm ISD Safety and Security Committee, and an investigation into alleged sexual assaults. The student created a ruckus following an independent inquiry into the harassment incident.
