German prosecutors searched the offices of JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Frankfurt, marking the latest expansion of a long-running tax-fraud probe involving several financial companies across Europe, including U.S. banks.
“We can confirm that our Frankfurt offices were visited this week. We continue to cooperate with the German authorities on their ongoing investigation,” a JPMorgan spokeswoman said.
