Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck are going deep their professional relationships,
They are releasing a joint album titled “18” on July 15.
Her first single, “This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamar,” has been released.
“When Johnny and I started playing together, it really ignited our youthful spirit and creativity,” Beck said The statement was posted on their official website, “We’d joke about how we felt at 18 again, so that becomes the title of the album as well.”
“It is an extraordinary honor to play and write music with Jeff, one of the true greats and I am now privileged to call my brother,” Depp said in a statement.
The two have been friends for years and Beck appeared in a song with the Hollywood Vampires, a supergroup Depp formed in 2012 with musicians Alice Cooper and Joe Perry.
The actor made headlines when he performed with Beck in England while the defamation suit against his ex-wife Amber Heard was coming to an end.
Earlier this month, a Jury finds Depp and Heard both liable for defamation in their lawsuits Against each other, Depp was awarded more monetary damages than Heard.
