Nearly a decade after selling myself leucadia national Investment bank Jefferies Financial Group Inc. is shedding some of the last remnants of the group and returning to its banking roots.
Jefferies is selling the Idaho Timbers for $239 million in two deals and plans to wind down oil and gas company Vitesse Energy by the end of the year, according to people familiar with the matter.
