‘It’s just sickening’: Bali bombmaker released after ‘just 10 years’ in jail

Australians only had to see the revelations yesterday about jihadi videos being shown in the country's schools to be reminded that Islamist extremism remains a sinister threat, Sky News host Chris Kenny says.

"In our region we need the resolve against Islamist extremism to be maintained both here at home and by other nations – especially Indonesia," Mr Kenny said.

"So it is just shattering today to hear the news that the Islamist extremist terrorist who made the bomb, the bloke who manufactured a deadly weapon that killed 202 innocent people in Bali almost 20 years ago ... that killed 88 Australians, well it's just sickening to see he's been released from jail after just 10 years in prison."
