However, the Hollywood star has issued a statement to Deadline saying that he will no longer jump into the promotional merry-go-round due to his anxiety attack. Amidst the big revelations, the actor also deleted his Instagram account.

In the statement, Jonah said he has finished directing his second film, a documentary about him and his therapist, which explores mental health in general. He also said that the whole purpose of making this film is to give the tools learned in his treatment to a wider audience through an entertaining film. He said, “Through this journey of self-discovery within the film, I have come to understand that I have spent nearly 20 years having anxiety attacks, exacerbated by media presence and public-facing incidents. ,” They said.

The actor further mentioned that the documentary will make its world premiere at a prestigious film festival this fall. He also said that he can’t wait to share it with the audience across the world and is also hoping that it will help those who are struggling with it. “However, you won’t see me promoting this film, or any of my upcoming films, while I take this important step to protect myself. If I made myself sick by going out there and promoting it, then I would not have been acting right for myself or the film,” the statement said.

“I usually get stuck on such letters or statements, but I understand that I am one of those privileged who can take the time. I will not lose my job while working on my concern,” he added.

The Knocked Up star continued and wrote that through the letter and with Stutz, he hopes to make mental health more normal by getting people to talk and take steps toward feeling better.
