Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar recalled an incident when the legendary India During an IND-PAK match, batsman Rahul Dravid got angry with him. Dravid, who was known for his very calm and calm nature during his playing days, was involved in an on-field brawl with Akhtar, who played the game with a lot of aggression. The two faced each other several times and Akhtar also called Dravid the toughest batsman he has bowled against on a few occasions.

Akhtar recalled the incident and said that things got heated after the early dismissals of Mohammad Kaif and Yuvraj Singh.
“It was the first time I saw this gentleman of cricket behave… In that match, he wanted to talk to me. We ran into each other and we collided. Earlier, as I ran to bowl, and before I jumped, Mohammad Kaif walked away. I didn’t say anything to him but I was very angry. So, I got him and Yuvraj out,” Akhtar said in a video posted by Star Sports.

The Rawalpindi Express narrated the incident saying that the Indian batting maestro was furious when the two collided on the ground.
“We were close to winning that game, and Rahul Dravid came up to me. I told him to run to your side and I will run to your side. Rahul was furious. I told him ‘Rahul, why are you being so aggressive? I know the climate is changing, but the thing is, I can’t understand that tu bhi fight sakta hai (You can also fight),” he said.
However, Akhtar was praising the current India head coach and called him a gentleman and recalled that his primary focus on that series was to bowl first against India to make an impact on him.
“But it was a one-time thing. Rahul is a gentleman. But coming back in the match, I bowled really fast in that spell. I made sure that after the 2003 World Cup, I made an impact on the Indian team. In my mind Always wanted to bowl fast after 2003 World cup,” he said.
