Mann said, ‘Orders have been issued for a high-level investigation of chit fund company Pearl, which has made movable and immovable assets worth billions by looting the blood and sweat of the people of Punjab. Its details will be made public soon. In Punjab, about 10 lakh people were victims of Pearl Group’s fraud.

Government will conduct property auction
The Mann government has not made public the details about the investigation. According to sources, the Punjab government will cooperate with the Lodha Committee appointed by the Supreme Court in this matter. In which the investors will be returned their money by selling the property of Pearl Group. About 1.5 lakh investors reached the Lodha Committee. After which the committee had asked the Punjab government to auction the properties of Pearl Group. Even after the passage of years, the previous governments did not take any action.

5.50 crore investors lost 60 thousand crores
Pearl Group is accused of getting about 5.50 crore people to invest in property across the country. Earned about 60 thousand crores from this. Fake allotment letters were given to the investors. Then the company grabbed this money.

Mann raised his voice in Lok Sabha
Bhagwant Mann was earlier a Lok Sabha MP from Sangrur. During this, he raised the issue of fraud of Pearl Group in Parliament. Now the victims of fraud are hopeful that after becoming CM, Bhagwant Mann will get their money back. Pearl Group owner Nirmal Singh Bhangu was arrested in January.
