Hyderabad: A private travel worker proved his integrity by returning a wallet containing Rs 23,700 in cash, which was lost by a man near Sultan Bazaar here on Friday.
Mohammad Yusuf, who worked for Azam Travels, was on his way to work in the morning when he found a wallet on the road near Rang Mahal Junction.
Yusuf waited for a while to see if anyone would come back to pick him up. However, no one returned to claim. When he checked the purse, he found the cash and the details of the loser.
He immediately contacted Sultan Bazar traffic inspector M.Suman Kumar and handed over the wallet. Police officials identified and traced its owner Jawahar Raju and handed over the purse to him in the presence of senior police officials.
