Husband asks public to forgive wife who ‘strangled their two children’

husband of a 32 year old woman from Massachusetts, The one who is accused of killing her two children by strangulation, is urging the public to forgive her.

Patrick Clancy shared an emotional statement on Jan. 28 in which he begged the public to forgive his wife, Lindsay Clancy.

He added: “I want to ask all of you that you find deep within yourself to forgive Lindsey, as I have done.”

He continued: “The real Lindsay was generously loving and caring to everyone – me, our children, family, friends and her patients. The very fiber of her soul is loving. Now all I wish for her is that she Find peace somehow.

The distraught father shared that “my family was the best thing that ever happened to me. I am so proud to be the husband of Lindsay and the father of Cora, Dawson and Callen. They gave me purpose and I never take that for granted.” Where that purpose used to be, there is now a vast void.”

His wife faces two counts of murder, three counts of strangulation and three counts of assault and assault with a deadly weapon.

She is suspected of strangulating her older children, Cora, 5, and Dawson, 3. The third child, eight-month-old Callen, was pronounced dead at Boston Children’s Hospital on Friday after being admitted to the hospital. According to several media outlets Ms Clancy was also charged with attempted infanticide.

Mr Clancy addressed speculation about his wife’s mental health. He added that she had recently been “extensively portrayed by people who never met her and never knew who the real Lindsay was”. She added that her “condition” had worsened recently, even though she did not specify what she was battling.

“She loved being a nurse, but nothing matches her intense love for our children and dedication to being a mother. It was all she ever wanted. Her passion taught me how to be a better father.
