Houston Texans, Others Will Be Named in Deshan Watson’s Trials After Bombing Reports, Lawyer Says

Houston Texans and others will Attorney Tony Buzby said Wednesday that Deshan should be added as a defendant in the lawsuits against Watson in light of a new report about the team’s alleged role in Watson’s massage.

Watson, now a member of the Cleveland Browns, booked appointments for massages with 66 women over a 17-month period, The New York Times reported on Tuesday, The list of women includes 24 who have already sued Watson, two of whom sued last week.

According to the report, Watson gave plaintiffs a non-disclosure agreement from a Texas official for the plaintiffs to sign, and the organization provided a hotel room where several massages took place.

“What has become clear is that the Houston Texan organization and their contracted ‘Massage Therapy Company’ facilitated Deshan Watson’s ConductBuzby, attorney for the 24 women who filed suit against Watson, said in a statement via ESPN.

“In many of these cases, Texans provided an opportunity for this conduct to occur. We believe the Texan organization was well aware of Watson’s issues, but failed to act. They knew or certainly knew.” Should have known.
