hitch fuel record-high gas prices

A lack of fuel-making facilities is pushing US gasoline and diesel prices to record levels as drivers prepare for the summer driving season.

Gasoline prices in all 50 US states rose above $4 a gallon for the first time in recent days, even as global crude oil prices bounced back from higher levels during the early days. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, US oil prices are hovering around $115 a barrel, down from $120 a barrel in March.
