While the storm system that passed over Hamilton and Burlington yesterday did not produce as much snow as previously predicted, it is having an impact on student transportation.

Hamilton Wentworth Student Transportation has canceled all buses. As a result the Hamilton Public School Board has closed all schools, but the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board is keeping its schools and administrative offices open to those who can safely get there, moving secondary exams a day ahead has been exceeded.

All Halton District and Halton Catholic District schools are open, but transportation services have been canceled in Zones 1, 2 and 3. This includes Burlington and Oakville, Milton, Houlton Hills as well as Georgetown and Acton.

All YWCA Child Care Centers in Hamilton and Dunnville will be open today

Let’s Get Moving Program in HWDSB Schools
