Gurugram: A group of men allegedly disrupted prayers at a church Gurugram‘s Pataudi on Christmas Eve.
A group claiming to be right-wing activists allegedly entered the church premises.
However, the police say that they have not received any complaint.
In the video, some people were seen shouting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ as they entered the church premises on Friday evening.
He is reportedly seen pushing the choir down the stage and snatching the mic.
The incident comes at a time when a controversy has erupted over offering prayers at some open places in Gurugram.
A local pastor said, “It was scary because we had women and children in the church. The riots are increasing with every passing day. This is a violation of our right to prayer and religion.”
Pataudi police station in-charge Amit Kumar said that the police have not received any complaint yet.
The local administration has not yet responded.
