Guelph, Waterloo named among Canada’s top small towns | Globalnews.ca

Guelph and Waterloo have been named as two of the top small cities in Canada.

Resonance Consultancy on Thursday released its first ranking of the top 25 performing cities in the country with a population of less than 200,000 residents.

Rankings are based on a number of factors including employment, number of visitors to each city, number of quality culinary experiences, and more.

Royal City is ranked eighth while Waterloo is up a few places from being out of the top 5.

Victoria, BC is number one.
