A man from Guelph, Ont. is facing charges after leaving a trail blood To obey the police.
Guelph police say an argument broke out between a man at an apartment complex on Silvercreek Parkway North at around 7:15 pm on Monday.
Officers reached under a ladder and outside the building to find traces of blood. The trail led police to a man with an injured hand that was the result of punching a glass window.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment and later released.
Investigators say the man returned to the apartment complex and tried to break into a unit.
The 38-year-old was arrested and is to appear in court on August 19.
