Nova Scotia saw gas and diesel prices fall for the second day in a row on Friday.

Gasoline prices fell further by 9.5 cents across the province.

This marks a 20 per cent drop in pump prices in two days.

Although a major drop, gas costs remain high in the province and across the country. A year ago, on July 9, 2021, the lowest gas price in Nova Scotia was $1.35 per liter.

Diesel prices fell by 13.1 cents on Friday.

Diesel prices are now as low as $1.81 a liter in the Halifax region and as low as $1.83 a liter in Cape Breton.
