A fog advisory was issued for parts of central Alberta on Thursday night with Environment and Climate Change Canada warning that “zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring.”

The advice stated that driving in such conditions could be dangerous, particularly as visibility had the potential to drop “suddenly to near zero”.
