Five people entered Haryana Congress MLA’s house, beat up his cook

Gurgaon Police on Saturday registered a case against five persons for allegedly threatening Congress MLA from Badli Kuldeep Vats and thrashing his cook. According to the police, these people had entered the MLA’s residence in Pataudi on Friday.

Gurgaon Police spokesperson Subhash Boken said, “A complaint was received that five people entered the house of Congress MLA Kuldeep Vats and threatened to kill him. The accused beat up his cook present in the house. we have registered a FIR And investigation has been started.”

In the police complaint, Rajeev said that he has been a cook for the MLA at his home in Pataudi for more than two years. “Around 2 pm on Friday, five people knocked on the gate outside and when I went to check, they forcibly barged inside and inquired about the MLA. When I told him that he was not at home, the accused threatened the MLA not to speak ill of his colleagues. He said when he (Punjabi singer Sidhu) didn’t leave Moosewala, how did he think he was safe. One of the accused slapped me and put a gun on my waist. After this the accused went round the house and searched the rooms in search of him. They were all armed… they fled to the nearby fields,” he alleged.

Police said an FIR has been registered against the accused at Pataudi police station under sections 148, 149, 323, 506, 452 of the IPC and relevant sections of the Arms Act.
