Fight Runaway Inflation With I Bonds

With inflation raging and the Federal Reserve raising interest rates again this week, one investment still stands unscathed.

So far in 2022, stocks are down 14%, bonds have lost 8%, and gold and bitcoin, widely touted as inflation fighters, are off 4% and 48%, respectively. But inflation-protected U.S. savings bonds, or I bonds, are offering a 9.62% annual yield through the end of October.
