According to police, an attempted burglary took place after 3 pm on Friday in the 200 block of South Beverly Drive.

The man, who was allegedly victimized, had exited a nearby jewelry store and was on his way to his black Ferrari parked outside an optician when he was surrounded by two robbers.

In the recording of the phone, the victim is seen lying injured on the middle of the road. Good Samaritans run to his side and do first aid, one of them is seen with a towel covered in blood.

L’Optique owner Garin Oganin described an ‘awful sight’.

“I tried to go out and get involved and help, basically try to help the guy,” she said Fox 11, ‘The minute I tried to do that, I saw that one of them had a gun and I thought it would make things worse if someone intervened.

‘Shortly after, everyone started shouting that he had a gun, and people ran. They were basically trying to steal his watch. It’s a trend here in Beverly Hills.

Police said the two robbers managed to capture despite the police setting up a perimeter around the crime scene.

Witnesses said one of the robbers escaped, while the other jumped into the waiting car and fled.

‘I want to assure the community that all measures are being taken to keep our community safe. “This evening, we have police officers on high alert,” Beverly Hills Police Chief Mark Steinbrook said in a statement.
