LOS ANGELES: A man stabbed a doctor and two nurses in the emergency ward of a Southern California hospital on Friday and was confined to a room for hours before police arrested him.
Los Angeles Police Officer Drake Madison said the man walked into Encino Hospital Medical Center in the San Fernando Valley shortly before 4 p.m.
Officials said the man had parked his car in the middle of an alley and went to the emergency room, where he asked doctors and nurses to treat anxiety before stabbing him.
