Delhi News Live: 2,799 new Kovid-19 cases registered in the city, 38 deaths

Delhi Live News: 2,779 new were recorded in Delhi on Tuesday COVID-19 infection with 38 deaths. The positivity rate stood at 6.20 per cent, while the city conducted 44,847 Covid-19 tests.

In other news, terming the Delhi government’s order to wear masks in cars as “absurd”, the Delhi High Court on Tuesday questioned why the said order was still in vogue and asked the state why it was not being withdrawn.

Chief Minister on the budget front Arvind Kejriwal And Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia called the Union Budget a “bad thought” and “disappointing”, adding that it did not provide any relief to the common man even during the pandemic.

The IMD said the city witnessed moderate fog on Wednesday morning and the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average. The Air Quality Index stood at 341 in the ‘Very Poor’ category.
