A 30-year-old auto driver has been arrested for sexually abusing a woman.
Police said the accused allegedly took the woman in his auto rickshaw and raped her at an isolated place.
When he raised an alarm and protested, snatched his phone and fled. The incident happened on Wednesday evening.
DCP (South East) Isha Pandey said, “We collected CCTV footage near the spot and started verifying the details of all the auto drivers in the area. After this the accused was identified. On the basis of technical surveillance, he was arrested on Thursday.
