Parents were asked to send their children to class on Monday with a temporary emergency contact because schools may not have access to that information.
In an update on Sunday, the board says its teams were working to restore service over the weekend.
The board, which has informed police, says it appreciates that the incident “raises a significant privacy concern” and that it will share more information when it becomes available.
