Child not injured after man allegedly picked up at Toronto subway station: Police – Toronto | Globalnews.ca

Toronto Police say a two-year-old boy has been found after he was allegedly taken away by a man at a metro station.

In a tweet, Toronto Police Said that the incident happened just before 5 pm Victoria Park TTC station.

Police said the man allegedly took a stroller with the child inside.

Global News trains were stopped in the area as authorities searched for the man and the child, officials said.

In an update at 5:50 pm, police said that the man and the child have been traced.

“No casualties have been reported,” police said in a tweet.

Officials said TTC service is resuming.

Officials said, ‘We are investigating.

It was not immediately clear whether the person knew the child.
