CDC ultramodern city-state to Covid-19 . puts you at highest travel risk for

(CNN) – The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this week added a new location to its list of “very high” risk travel destinations.

The ultramodern city-state of Singapore has risen to level 4 from the agency’s highest risk category, level 3, or “high” risk for Covid-19.

This news comes on the heels of a Singapore’s recent decision to further loosen restrictions and add eight new countries, including the United Kingdom and the United States vaccination travel lane program. Fully vaccinated people coming from those countries can apply for quarantine-free admission.

According to CDC criteria, destinations in the “Covid-19 Very High” level 4 category have had more than 500 cases per 100,000 residents in the past 28 days.
