nineteen year old justin crow ameliasberg and Sarah Bradbury, 17, of Belleville, both died in the same vehicle collision.

On Thursday, a life celebration was organized for Sara at her parents’ house.

It is impossible to fully describe their sudden loss to Sarah’s family and friends.

Her mother says support from the community throughout the week and Thursday in celebration of Sarah’s life has reminded her that she and the family are not alone.

“It’s overwhelming. Seeing everyone here, hugging, people I don’t even know come and hug me, they’re paying their respects,” said Sarah’s mother, Alex Bradbury.

For the dozens of people who appear in small groups of one or two in the Bradbury household, the celebration of life is a roller coaster of tears, prayers and joy as the young outgoing woman remembers the impact she had on everyone she met. .

According to Mike Amodio, his colleague and friend at Boston Pizza, it was a character trait that served him well.

“At that time her brother and sister worked there and she started working at a young age too…the hosts started and they are timid and scared. She got fit from day one, like she was from life It was full, ”said Amodeo.

Maya Forestell has been Sarah’s closest friend since they first met in seventh grade.

Forrestal says the stories of his time with Sarah are almost endless but little things like hanging out in Sara’s room together come to mind.

“We would sit in his room for hours, on our phones, no matter what. Like we could sit there for hours – we didn’t even have to talk, this was the time we were together,” Forestell said.

Sarah’s father, Adam, said, “I’ve been hearing stories of a daughter I didn’t know but was proud to hear those stories of living her life.”

It’s something that Adam Bradbury said is holding on to the love and pride that Sarah took for the life lessons he wanted to give her.

“I think the biggest thing I taught him was to go and live and enjoy it and watch those sunsets,” he said.

They are feelings that will be carried forward by Sarah’s friends, parents, her brother Nathaniel, and two sisters, Veronica and Emma.
