BCCI Ethics Officer Vineet Saran Sends Conflict Of Interest Notice To President Roger Binny

BCCI’s Ethics Officer Vineet Saran has served a conflict of interest notice to Board President Roger Binny.

PTI has learned that Saran has asked Binny to file a written reply by December 20 against the allegations of conflict of interest leveled against him.

Complainant Sanjeev Gupta has alleged that Binny is in controversy as his daughter-in-law works for Star play Who has the media rights for the home season of Indian cricket.

“You are hereby informed that a complaint has been received by the Ethics Officer of BCCI for violation of Rule 38 (1) (i) and Rule 38 (2) of Rule 39 (2) (b) of the Rules and Regulations. BCCI. In accordance with the above rules, an instance of “conflict of interest” has been created on your part.

“You are hereby directed to file your written response to the enclosed complaint on or before 20/12/2022. The said response should be supported by a duly executed affidavit,” Saran wrote in the November 21 notice.

The 67-year-old played 27 Tests and T20 ODIs for India.
