A 50-year-old biker died after crashing his motorcycle at a turn at a race circuit in Kent

A biker has died after his motorcycle crashed at a turn during a race circuit.

Kent Police confirmed a man in his 50s was riding a green Kawasaki ZX-10R motorcycle and was ejected from the vehicle after leaving the track in Kent.

The air ambulance was called and paramedic teams arrived to provide treatment to the motorcyclist.

Sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene and the man’s family are being supported by officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.

The fatal collision happened yesterday at Lydden Hill Race Circuit near Dover, Kent.

The company, founded in 1993, runs track days at the Kent Circuit across the UK and across Europe and claims to be the UK’s ‘leading provider of bike track days’.

Detectives have urged witnesses who attended the track day to come forward and are appealing for footage or evidence of the crash.
