Actor Vijay Sethupathi on Thursday unveiled the first look poster of his upcoming film Annabelle Sethupathi. Billed as a horror-comedy, the Tamil film also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.
The first look poster features Sethupathi and Pannu. It also has an ominous looking palace. The film seems to have followed the blueprint of director Sundar C’s Aranmanai.
The film marks Taapsee Pannu’s return to Tamil cinema after a gap of two years. It also stars Yogi Babu, Radhika Sarathkumar and Rajendra Prasad.
Annabelle Sethupathi is directed by Deepak Sundararajan, son of veteran director-actor Sundararajan. It will release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on September 17 on Disney Plus Hoster.

Apart from Annabelle Sethupathi, Vijay Sethupathi has several films coming up in September. His long-awaited film Labam, which is National Award winning filmmaker SP Jhannathan’s last film, is set to open in theaters on September 10. The film also stars Shruti Haasan, Sai Dhanshika, Kalaiyarasan, Ramesh Tilak, Prithvi Rajan, Daniel Anne Pope. . , Nitish Veera and Jai Varman.
Sethupathi’s political satire Tughlaq Darbar will premiere on Sun TV. However, the premiere date is yet to be announced. Comedy film Kadaisi Vivahaya, directed by M. Manikandan, will also premiere on SonyLIV in September.
