Airbnb will rent Carrie Bradshaw’s ‘Sex and the City’ apartment for two nights in November

For only two nights in November, Airbnb is renting out a version of Carrie’s vibrant brownstone She asked the question, “How did a sex columnist afford this gorgeous apartment on the Upper East Side?” It has all the stuff that made it so memorable on the show, plus a virtual journey of Carrie herself, Sarah Jessica Parker. (Big, Aidan and other flaky love interests are not included.)
Brownstone Stay will happen a few weeks before the premiere “And just like that…” The upcoming HBO Max series that continues the adventures of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte sans samantha. (HBO Max and CNN share a parent company, WarnerMedia.) Oh, and because the original “Sex and the City” premiered 23 years ago, each one-night stay will cost guests just $23.

Parker will greet guests (via video) in the style of one of Carrie’s many contemplative monologues before transforming into her character’s luxurious apartment. Look, Carrie’s writing desk is where she mined her turbulent personal life and proper old-school laptop for newspaper fodder. If you absolutely call your girlfriends during your stay, Carrie’s chunky cordless landline can balance neatly against your shoulder while you sift through shoes on the floor of her closet.

Speaking of Carrie’s huge closet, it’s like an adult’s dress-up dream come true. overflowing with couture and Carrie’s signature styles — yes, the tutu is there, based on photos provided by Airbnb — and painted in the same earthy blue hue of our protagonist’s apartment in the movie “Sex and the City” Well, Carrie’s walk-in closet has tons of options for trendy outfits for brunch and Cosmos.

It's possible that this Airbnb version of Carrie's apartment is even better than the original.
To be clear, this isn’t Carey’s original apartment—the interior seen on the series was built on a set, and the brownstone exterior was actually located in the West Village and it had a fascinating history. This is an entertainment, located in the tony Chelsea neighborhood of New York. (Oh, and although the stay only costs $23 before taxes, guests are responsible for getting themselves to New York, per Airbnb.)
