“Videos from Palanpur showing the GRD recruitment process depict the true picture of Gujarat under the BJP leadership. Many graduates and post graduates were among the applicants, showing a severe shortage of jobs in Gujarat. Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson Manish Doshi said, “The state government has not only made higher education costly and inaccessible, but has also ensured that youth do not get jobs even after getting degrees.”

“There is rampant corruption in these recruitment events and without any cuts, getting a government job is a distant prospect. It is a complete failure of BJP, which has turned the state into ‘Vibrant unemployed Gujarat’.”

Interim Leader of Opposition Paresh Dhanani also took to Twitter with the video and wrote, “The ‘Vikas’ of BJP which was born out of Gujarat model of 2002, is now 20 years old. Although it did not develop on its own. Instead of giving jobs to lakhs of youth, the BJP government is beating them with sticks.
