Armed police teased an 80-year-old former ballet dancer in her kitchen after allegedly mixing up her address with a black suspect in her 30s.

Roy Morton – who is suffering from a heart condition – is woken up by officers who broke down his front door, fired a stun gun, knocked him down and handcuffed him.

The terrified father of two children, who now works in film and television, is later told that the police actually intended to raid the home of another man, who was accused of possessing a firearm and attacking a woman. There was doubt.

Mr Morton said he could have been killed by a 50,000-volt weapon during a raid on his four-bedroom home in Cricklewood, northwest of Cricklewood. London, last Tuesday. He condemned the Scotland Yard commissioner cressida dick to the mix and said it had chilling echoes of the death of Jean Charles de Menezes in 2005.

Dame Cressida oversaw the fatal operation in which an innocent electrician was shot on a tube mistaken for a terrorist.

Describing the moment armed officers broke into his kitchen at 7 a.m., Mr Morton told the Daily Mail: ‘I was putting on my pajamas, just standing on the tiled floor wondering what was going on. Is.

‘At least four cops with machine guns in full gear were shining bright torches in my face, all screaming and shouting something incomprehensible at me. He didn’t give me any instructions, nothing.

‘Suddenly one of them pointed this taser at me and the lightning started blinking. It hit my stomach and the top of my leg and I fell helplessly on the kitchen floor.

‘Then they jumped on me, knelt on my back, propped me up on the tile floor, rolled my arms behind my back and handcuffed me and told me I had been arrested for assault.

Describing his ‘shock and confusion’, he said that the officers saw him dressed and before going to the toilet. Mr Morton – who had a pacemaker implanted 25 years ago for a condition called heart block – said after his arrest he was taken to the Royal Free Hospital in north London to be tested for the device.

He was later transferred to Colindale police station in a ‘filthy’ police van where he was informed of the disturbance.

“I was told that the officers who raided my house were actually looking for a 6ft black man, 30 years old, living in a flat and who may have been armed,” he said. ‘I’m white, I’m 80, I’m 5ft 8 and I live in a house. I was not a danger to anyone… I could have died.

‘What kind of training do they give these people? How can they justify using such a weapon on a pensioner in his own house?’

Mr Morton was eventually told he would be taken back home – about 12 hours after he was arrested.

Although he said station officials quickly realized a mistake had been made, they were yet to receive an apology.

He was also billed £55 to fix the doors of his house – but it is estimated that the total cost of the repair could be as much as £3,000.

He now intends to pursue the Force for harm, saying that he has since struggled with insomnia, tremors and heart palpitations.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said the matter had been referred to the police watchdog.
