Initially, Singleton said that she was dazzled by his sweet messages, when she expressed how ‘lucky’ he felt to have met her that night.

However, the 25-year-old’s ‘jaw hit the floor’, apparently slammed her by accidentally sending her a bikini picture with the text ‘weak’, clearly mocking her.

Jake’s message to his friend said: ‘Brother, he’s a solid four’, before accepting ‘desperate times call for desperate measures’ and ‘beggars can’t be choosers’.

He said that he was going to put his date with Samantha ‘on the low’ and ended the message claiming ‘all I saw was s*** and an easy lie’.

A second message came shortly after Samantha, in which she attempted to cover up the mistake by claiming: ‘I didn’t mean to send you this’ and ‘I was talking about someone else’.

Samantha refuses to respond – and stands up to her date – and is amazed at how Jake has stopped delivering ‘childish’ messages so politely.

She then exposed her cold-hearted mistake on TikTok, where her video has now garnered over 1.5 million views, with users upset over Jake’s message.

Ever since she texted the message claiming to be a ‘joke’, she demanded that she take down TikTok to avoid men thinking she was ‘crazy’ – and ‘he just isn’t attractive to fat girls’ finds’.

Samantha said: Comments about ‘desperate times’, ‘beggars can’t be choosers’ and ‘keeping it easy’ – they sucked. It made me short and it was childish.

‘He went from being really respectful and having really good grammar to talking like he was a high school guy. It’s amazing how men can totally cheat on you. It seemed like two completely different people.

1.14 pm:

Jake: ‘Yeah, I can’t wait to meet you! You are beautiful [heart eyes emoji], Will 7-ish work?’

Samantha: ‘Thanks. Very Lovely. Yes, it should be fine.’

Jake: ‘I’m coming straight from work so you have to see my work uniform.’

Samantha: ‘Haha, no worries. I’m in scrubs so I understand.’

Jake: ‘I’m sure you’ll look beautiful either way. I am lucky that I got a chance to take you out.

At 3.59 p.m. Jake sent a photo of Samantha in a bikini that he shared on dating app Bumble:

Jake: ‘No brother, he’s a solid four and I’ll definitely keep it on low, but desperate times call for desperate measures and beggars can’t be selectors.

‘All I saw was t*** and an easy lay down.’

Jake: ‘Shame. I’m sorry I didn’t mean to send that to you… I was talking about someone else and accidentally clicked his picture. My mistake.’

‘When I saw him send the photo, I thought he would say something perverse and sexually abuse my body and ruin the whole thing, but then I read the text and I didn’t know what to say.

‘Initially I was very surprised. I laughed a little when my jaw hit the floor because that’s typical of my luck with men. I didn’t answer anything because I didn’t know what to say.

‘which number [rating] I didn’t get as much because I really don’t know how it works, and it doesn’t make any sense.’

It hurt, but I dodged a bullet. What I’d rather do is hang out and think this is going somewhere…

She said that Jake was “tall, dark and handsome” and “interested in the same things” so she had high hopes for their relationship.

Samantha explained: ‘My friends told me I should hang out with someone as soon as I can so I can see how they are in person, so I thought that was great because that’s what he was trying to do.

‘He was too quick to jump in for texting and wanted to hang out because he wasn’t on Bumble very much, and I wasn’t either.

‘He seemed very respectful and seemed to appreciate my time.’

It appears that Jake wants to know her personality as well, something that impressed her but now realizes that she was not real and says she is relieved that she has discovered the truth.

He said: ‘It hurt, but I dodged a bullet. What I’d rather do is hang out and think this is going somewhere, then realize he’s using me for sex or something like that.’
