Sant Lakhaji was roaming in a village in Rajasthan. If someone used to give them alms, they used to eat. He was not hungry. Still, if someone gives alms, I fill my material stomach.’

One day while walking outside a house, he heard a woman inside telling her son, ‘Go look, Seth ji is dead, there is news in the whole village. So you go and see whether Seth ji went on the path of heaven or the path of hell.

Sant Lakhaji was shocked to hear this and thought that this woman was sending her son to find out whether the dying Seth had gone to heaven or hell.

After a while the son came and said to his mother, ‘That Seth has gone to hell.’

Sant Lakhaji was even more shocked to hear this. He went inside and asked the woman, ‘Where did this knowledge come from in you and the amazing thing is that your son also knows who has gone to heaven and who has gone to hell. I salute you.’

The woman said, ‘Don’t bow down. You are a monk It is very easy to know who has gone where. After the death of a person, people criticize after him, remember his misdeeds, then understand that that person has gone to hell. Sant Lakhaji said to the woman, ‘Today you have said a very good thing. If a man does good deeds, he attains heaven.’
