State BJP President Sukanta Majumdar on Sunday met the family of Ranjan Saha, who died after falling into a manhole in Dum Dum the previous day, and criticized the “incompetent” public representatives in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC). He spoke to the family and expressed condolences.
“After becoming the state president, I saw that three people lost their lives due to the incompetence of the municipal representatives. Let the government accept their failure when they keep on advertising their achievements. The government should stand in support of the family of this deceased person,” Majumdar said.
BJP leader Dilip Ghosh on Sunday highlighted the “incompetence” of the civil administration in the state and blamed the TMC for the mismanagement.
