Golden State Warriors Star Klay Thompson reacted to a YouTuber being banned from Chase Center after he was able to go on court to shoot some hoops before Game 5 Monday night.
Dawson Gurley, Known as “Fake Clay Thompson” Dressed up as a Warriors star and fooled the chase center security. He was later informed that he would be banned from the arena indefinitely.
The real Klay Thompson was asked About to test Wednesday as the Warriors prepare to take down the Boston Celtics for another NBA championship.
“Hey man, poor man. Just trying to get some good stuff,” Thompson said via the San Jose Mercury News. “You play stupid games, you get stupid rewards.”

Gurley wrote about the ordeal on Twitter and later posted a video filmed by him and his team of him appearing in court.
“In Game 5 and @warriors banned me from their arena for life,” Gurley wrote.

“Banned (because) I had 5 layers of security guards (who voluntarily let me go through security without asking for ID) and shot around in court for 10 minutes. I spent 10K on tickets they didn’t return Why should I be banned because their security is disabled?”
On Tuesday, Gurley tweeted that the Chase Center had “every right” to ban him.
“I’m being approached by a lot of news organizations to do the interview. So far I won’t do anything. Don’t want to make this a big deal, Chase Center has every right to ban me. I get it. Anybody Not a hard feeling. It was fun doing it.”
Gurley dressed as Thompson for the past Warriors’ NBA Finals Walks and became known as the “fake Klay Thompson”. He appeared in the crowd at final games and ring ceremonies.
