Three people are in the hospital on Friday morning Montreal Police Examine a pair of stabs separately.

In the first incident, the police say that the fight between the two groups turned violent.

At around 3.30 pm, two people were sent to the hospital after being stabbed in the upper part of the body.

Police say the incident took place on the streets of Ste-Catherine and de la Montagne in the heart of the city.

A 23-year-old and a 29-year-old are in the hospital. According to police spokesman Veronique Comtois, one of the victims is in critical condition, while the other is in a stable condition.

“We are looking at security footage to see if a store camera captured the incidents to identify any suspects or witnesses,” Comtois said.

Comtois said the two victims were not aware of the police service.

Meanwhile, police say the life of a 24-year-old man is in no danger after being stabbed overnight at LaSalle.

At around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a 911 call that reported violent altercations in Ouellet Park, near Robert and Serre Streets.

Police say that the youth has suffered injuries in the upper part of the body. He is expected to be fine.

No arrests have been made in both the incidents.
