Vaghani denies allegations against Kiritsingh by Maharashtra minister

Gujarat government spokesperson and senior minister Jitu Vaghani on Thursday denied the allegations leveled against minister Kiritsingh Rana. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and senior minister in Maharashtra government, Nawab Malik, and challenged the latter to prove the same.

Earlier in the day, Malik alleged links between Rana and some controversial names linked to the recent cruise drug bust conspiracy case in Maharashtra. Rana is the Cabinet-level Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change in the Government of Gujarat.

Malik alleged that persons like Manish Bhanushali, Dhaval Bhanushali, KP Gosavi and Sunil Patil were close to Rana and they often stayed in five star hotels in Ahmedabad. Malik also questioned whether a drug racket was being run from Gujarat.

Taking strong objection to the allegations leveled by Malik, Vaghani said, “Those who have leveled allegations against Kiritsingh (Rana), I challenge him to show (named persons) relation with Kiritsingh. Our government, Kiritsingh ji and ours. BJP The leadership is ready for this. Congress, NCP and other opponents have got used to making false allegations and spreading rumours. The Congress and the NCP are unable to digest the BJP’s influence, its works and the blessings of the people.
“There is no relation, Kiritsingh ji is serving (people) honestly. His public life has been spotless. I refute all the statements and allegations,” Vaghani said.
